An ordinary repair company, deliberately

No superlatives on this page. Just what we are, how we work, and why we set the company up this way.

The plain version

Who we are

Bedrock Appliance is a small appliance repair company based on 4th Ave NE in Poulsbo, Washington. We fix dryers, washers, refrigerators and freezers, stoves and ovens, and ice makers across Kitsap County — from Kingston and Hansville in the north, through Silverdale and Bremerton, over the bridge to Bainbridge Island, and down to Port Orchard.

We won't claim to be the biggest outfit on the peninsula or the fastest, because we aren't and most companies saying so aren't either. What we run is a steady operation: phones answered during business hours, technicians who arrive inside the window they were given, vans stocked for the faults Kitsap machines actually develop, and paperwork that says what the repair costs before the repair happens.

The name is the philosophy. Bedrock is the layer everything else stands on — unglamorous, load-bearing, still there decades later. That's the kind of service company we thought this county could use one more of.

How we work

The three habits we don't break

Everything in writing

The diagnostic finding, the repair price, the warranty terms — printed, not promised. A verbal ballpark protects the company that gave it; a written quote protects you.

One flat diagnostic

$95, stated at booking, identical at every address, applied toward any repair you approve. It buys real testing and a straight answer — including "replace it" when that's the truth.

Honest scheduling

We offer the window we actually have, not the one that sounds best on the phone. Cooling failures jump the queue; everything else gets the nearest real opening.

Local by design

Rooted on the peninsula

Everything about the company assumes Kitsap: the no-ferry service map, the van stock weighted toward what local retailers have sold for two decades, and the diagnostic habits — vent checks for a damp climate, valve screens for well water, corrosion checks near saltwater — that a season of peninsula work teaches and a manufacturer's manual never mentions.

Hours are mon–fri: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, at 19846 4th Ave NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370. Visits are scheduled rather than walk-in; the fastest way to one is the request form or a call to (360) 717-8977.

On the job

The work, as it actually looks

A few frames from recent visits around the county — no staging, just the day's route.
